Noah Marion Quality Goods started small in a south Austin, Texas garage in 2006 utilizing all recycled and repurposed materials to create one of a kind bags and accessories. With a focus on quality over quantity and a brand idiom “buy once, buy for life,” Marion’s business and design work has now led him to move into a new space, take on an apprentice and a shop team worker, as well as gear up for local leather craft production on a larger scale.
I’m a fan of Noah Marion’s work, because his designs and products are the antithesis of the status quo market, products created for the “…inevitable death in the landfill,” as Marion puts it. “The desire not to add to this is what drives me and my design ethos.” His designs are classic and simple, yet reveal interesting shapes and details, and the results are built to endure a lifetime of seasons.
Another bonus: Marion has a ton of leather goods intended not just for the working man. There are many female centric options that can be found in his online shop. Here are a few pieces that I’m loving.
Above: The Jasmine Crossbody, $150; Glasses Carrier, $50; Scarf Wrap, $25; Streamline Clutch, $85; Braided Belt, $100; Simple Card Wallet, $50; The Everyday Tote, $250.
All of Noah Marion’s heirloom goods can be found at www.noahmarion.com.
